Wiring devices at Schneider Electric

Design and development across three global product ranges — 200+ distinct products.

Wiring devices at Schneider Electric

For eight years I designed and developed everyday objects that millions of people touch without noticing: switches, sockets, dimmers and mounting systems. I owned three ranges — Opal in India (100+ offers), EXXACT for the Nordics (500+), and New FUGA in Denmark (800+) — and contributed to a dozen more.

The work taught me that great product design lives in tolerances and trade-offs: a snap-fit that assembles in seconds, a box that works for installers in three countries, a dimmer whose light guide glows evenly.

As Innovation Lead and Local Patent Correspondent I filed patents (two granted in Europe: EP2270941 and EP2602888) and prototyped augmented-reality tools for product catalogues and installation.
