Ecoshastra
Health, wellness and lifestyle products made in India — incense, herbs and perfumes.
Co-founder · India & CanadaOperating
Ecoshastra Solutions Pvt Ltd began in 2017 as a platform for ideas at the meeting point of ecology and the Indian tradition of well-being. It became an operating product company in recent years, with its roots in Agra — the region I grew up in, where my grandfather was a farmer and an herbal healer.
The thread is simple: craft that is honest about where it comes from, made close to the source, and priced so that more people can use it.
AI · Education
Grade360
AI evaluation of subjective exam answers for Indian schools — handwriting and Hindi included — with teachers in the loop.
Co-founderIn beta
Teachers in India spend an enormous share of their time grading written answers by hand. Grade360 reads handwritten, subjective answers in English and Hindi, scores them against the teacher’s own rubric, and keeps the teacher in the loop for every judgment that matters.
The aim is a tool a government school can actually afford and use — and the first deployment I want to see is back home, in Bah.
AI · Learning
Taxila
A not-for-profit initiative teaching AI literacy and critical thinking to school students and adults, in Canada.
FounderEarly stage
Named for the ancient university city of Takshashila. The idea: AI will be a part of every learner’s life, so the skill to question it, use it well and think independently has to be taught — to teenagers and to adults who feel left behind by the pace of change.
AI · Film
Tensor Studio
A Toronto AI-filmmaking studio reimagining beloved Indian stories and advertising.
FounderForming
Generative video makes it possible for a very small team to tell very large stories. Tensor Studio is an attempt to use that for the stories I grew up with — and for honest, craft-first advertising.
Med-tech
Recupero Robotics
Gamified haptic devices for stroke rehabilitation, spun out of Penn’s rehabilitation robotics lab.
Co-founder · SBIR-backedAdvisory
Stroke recovery depends on repetition, and repetition depends on motivation and access. Recupero Robotics grew out of the low-cost rehabilitation-gym research I led the product design for at Penn — compact, transportable and designed to give haptic feedback at a fraction of the cost of clinical robots.

Not a venture in the usual sense, but the work I am most careful about. See the Poetry page.
Alongside, I work as an external consultant on embedded software for electric-drive systems at Mercedes-Benz R&D North America — as product owner and agile coach, under automotive functional-safety standards.
